I am unable to pair the Smart Control 5 remote with the Setup App, what can I do?


Please ensure your phone has Bluetooth enabled and that it is Bluetooth Smart Ready (Bluetooth Low Energy).
Check the compatibility section for more information and a list of devices (you can also use an app called BLE checker to find out if your smartphone uses Bluetooth Smart).

Please also ensure that the Smart ControlĀ 5 has fresh batteries in it and is in working order.

If your smart phone meets these recommendations, try rebooting your phone to see if this resolves the issue.
